This amber embodies the color and feel of the forests here in the Pacific Northwest. Moss, fern, earth. They almost look as if they filled with rainwater. Reflective, flashy, verdant. Gorgeous.
This particular color is called 'Earth Stone' color by my supplier on the Baltic Sea. It's a deep, natural green that looks so different in every light. The shape of this one was a bit of a free shape with a sloping sort of profile, and was great for a more layered and detailed setting. The silver work also helps to protect it.
I set it in a plain, Fine Silver bezel setting and adorned it with 100% hand fabricated silverwork. Nothing is cast and every component is one-of-a-kind meticulously hand crafted by yours truly. This kind of work takes time, but so worth it in the end.
I gave this beauty a band/shank that I've been calling a "double double", meaning I made it from two double half round pieces, that I soldered together, then slightly split. It's a medium weight silver, so not too heavy and is very comfortable to wear. It measures 3/8" on the inside/palm side.
The face of the ring is 2" in length by 1.5" wide.
The back plate is stamped with my LUNALUPA makers marks and 925 for Sterling.
This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of hand crafted jewelry that will be around to become an heirloom piece.
It measures size 7 on my ring mandrel. Remember to size up 1/4 size or so for these wider bands. *This ring cannot be resized.
